Korean Law.
There are many different principles in Korean law as compared with western legal principles. The most common area of law for TEFL teachers is contract law. Most of the actions that cannot be resolved will end up in the Small Claims Court. Occasionally the cases reach the Supreme Court for determination. Most disputes in Korea originate with private schools "hogwans,' though it is not uncommon to see Universities unilaterally changing contractual conditions. Legal fees can be as high in Korea as in the U.S., with most Korean attorneys only acting once large fees have been paid up front.

There are many Job Boards on the Internet where you can find a job, However, the information given by the job boards is not sufficient for you to know if you are accepting a safe legal job which means you will have wonderful sojourn, or a contract which violates Labor Laws, Tax laws, Immigration laws, to name but 3. If you accept these contracts, your problems will be substantial. At EFL-Law (Forums) we have established the only Safe Jobs Board, where you can guaranteed the job complies with the law. We will also guide you prior to signing if you need further help.
